I've been in Spain for a while, so I haven't been able to post anything.
Nothing abnormal happened. I saw a few operator symbols around, but no sightings of Slendy, not yet.

HABIT summon fail
So Vinnie's great plan to summin HABIT turned into the biggest fail in the history of Slenderman. How could he believe for one second that dressing Evan up like a doofus and making him do a superman pose would help. We know now that Evan is in league with the Rake ( he said his friend was a "deformed dog thing" or some such) and his other friend is a "stick-in-the-mud"... Slenderman or Firebrand?
Sime fuy criticised me for saying Slender, even though it is a perfectly good nickname for our tall, smart pal.
I am still planning my stand against Slenderman. If the Operator Symbol does allow one to
Control Slendy, I could make him my puppet and get him to DANCE FOR ME!!!!!!!
Just grossed myself out.

Soon, very soon...
Ok, so I was in town this morning, and I saw the Operator symbol grafittied on the window of a xlosed down shop. It could just be some punk trying to be funny, but my area isn't very exposed to pop culture. Some people know the Slender games, but if you say "look, the Operator Symbol" to somebody, they would just raise an eyebrow and walk away.
Digression time! who saw the new EMH video today. Vince knows how to summon HABIT, but didn't show us the book. I have no idea whether their stuff is real, but if it works I could use it to nab me a Slender. I wish we would get more of these vids more frequently.
Now, I have been thinking about the (X) symbol, and I have figured that it can attract OR repel Slendy, based on what the drawer wants it to do. Like a magnet. If you just draw it without thinking about it it could do one or the other. I'm sure many people have drawn Operator Symbols around their school or town. However, I think it needs to be drawn quite big to work. It's like a gate for Slendy. If it is 'open' and the drawer wants Slender to turn up, he will eventually. If the drawer wants it to repel him, he wont come near. I now think that the 'Operator' isn't Slenderman, it's the one drawing the symbol, as they are controlling or 'operating' Slenderman. Maybe it holds a higher degree of control than that. It makes me wonder whether Slendy is just a vengeful bastard. Maybe he commits all these atrocieties under the control of another. Lol maybe he's a genie.
In a way this thought is worse because it means anyone could just summon him and tell him to attack anyone.
Even me.

My thoughts
Great, so I just told y'all a load of stuff we knew already. But there are still a lot of mysteries. Vinnie of EMH met Dr Corenthal in some other dimension a while back. It is implied that this is where Slendy and that Rake chappy live. The order thats been giving the Darkharvest guys trouble think that Slendy lives in some 4th world or something. I think that these two dimensions are 1 and the same. However, the theory that Slendy and the Rake are the same race seems to lack credibility. While Slenderman is tall and elegant, the Rake is short and aggressive. While Slenderman's abilities lie in the supernatural, the Rake just uses his massive claws. While Slenderman enjoys haunting and mentally destroying his prey, the Rake just gets straight to the point.
In the Tutorial blog M refers to Slendy as 'stupid' on a number of occasions. I don't think animalistic traits like stupid or angry can apply to him. Slenderman is not human, and is definitely not part of the animal kingdom, or any other known kingdom. Hey, maybe there is some kingdom of monsters like Slendy and the Rake. Anyway, M's evidence is that he can't get you if you are higher than him. He can. See, he will just teleport right over to you if it seems worth it.
Then we have the operator symbol. I have been doing a lot of thinking, and I'm still stumped. Sometimes it repels him, sometimes it summons him. Zeke found out when interviewing a Slender victim that the symbol used to mark his targets. I also know that the symbol has some mathsy meaning, but maths is not my strong point. If I find out anything I'll post it here.
Of course, I have not heard from our tall friend yet. I still need to make preparations.

What I know
So for now I'm just killing time. Slendy is still holed up in the U S of A (that is where he seems most popular). So I have decided to post up everything I know as a record. If it somehow helps someone then yay.
Background- History
Many of the early tales of the Slenderman come from Germany. Der Grobmann, as he is called over there, seems to hunt in the trees and kidnap children. That pretty much scans with what urban legend says. There is a story about a pair of twin girls. Slenderman possessed their mother and told her to make her kids kill themselves. They didn't. I don't really know the rest but it ended badly. Another piece of 'evidence' is a picture of a multi armed skeleton guy in armour killing some bloke. A lot of people think this is slendy. I call bullshit. The figure in the picture has a face, and Slendy is not a skeleton. People have depicted multi armed monsters in pictures for ever. This is not Slenderman.
Background- Modern Day
With all this in mind, what the hell does he have against America?
Well, a while back there was a competition on the Something Awful forum to create a terrifying photo. The winner, Victor Surge, posted a photo of Slendy behind some kids. Somehow this got popular and spread. People didn't realise that this was no joke, and that by huping up this fresh new urban legend they had practically killed themselves. And then Marble Hornets showed up. A guy named Alex (a common name among Slender targets) was working on a film project and Slenderman wanted a piece of the action. Alex gave the tapes from his project to his friend Jay... And things jusy got screwed up. This practically shaped our modern view of Slenderman, even if people don't realise it.
Of course, there is also that game, Slender: the 8 Pages. Round my part of the world (ol' Somerset) this game is basically what Slenderman is; most people have never heard of MH or the Something Awful forum. Anyway, most of this stuff is American, so that is where mr Slim hangs out.
Powers
Slenderman is not just a tall bloke with no face and a good dress sense; he has some wicked powers on him.
Teleportation: Commonly referred to as Slenderwalking, this is one thing everyone agrees on. Slendy has the ability to pop up wherever he wants. Scarily, he can also teleport other people, a favourite pasttime of his.
Tentacles: Jeez, why is he not attacking Japan? They'd love him. Another of his abilities is the manifestation of black tentacles. Presumably these are used to strangle his prey once he's done with them.
Time Manipulation: Very hard to describe. Slenderman seems to be able to fling people into the future. One may see him and suddenly you will wake up several days into the future. The full extent of this is unknown.
Mind Control: Slendy can't do everything by himself. He is able to take over the minds of people, turning them into 'proxies'. This allows him to trap his prey, or just wreck their mind by turning a loved on against them. The largest group of proxies known is the Collective, a shadowy group of fiends with a special interest in Noah Maxwell of TribeTwelve.
Others: He can also induce insomnia, severe sickness, paranoia and insanity.
The Operator Symbol
It looks like a circle with a cross through it. It appears in locations associated with Slenderman. Some say it summons Slenderman, others say it is a ward against him. If you see this symbol, he is probably nearby.
Well, that concludes that, I suppose. I may find more info in the future.
This is Alex Hampton. Peace out.

Waiting to be hunted
Everyone knows who Slenderman is. If you don't then you have obviously been living under a rock for the last few years. For those with no idea who the Slenderman is (yes, all three of you) please leave this blog and forget it. Hell, all of you should probably clear off. You see, Slendy is transmitted by knowledge. The more you know of him, the more interested in you he becomes.
My Name is Alex Hampton, and I live in Great Britain. I am 15 years old but I think I can survive in these Slender times.
This blog is unique. Most 'slenderblogs', which are the most common Slenderman records, start off with some different intention. Take Zeke Strahm's blog Seeking Truth, set up by his partner snd ised at first to record his latest assignment. We all know how that went. Others are created to record ones attempts at survival. I am not YET prey of tall, dark and Slendy, but I think I have a plan. This blog has been set up in advance of my imminent encounter with the Slenderman.
I know making this blog will attract our faceless friend eventually. I'm counting on it.
